In today’s rapidly evolving economic landscape, fostering entrepreneurial skills is vital, particularly in sectors crucial for sustainable growth like agriculture and food production. In a collaborative effort between the Academy of Entrepreneurship and “Gjorche Petrov” High School in Kavadarci, the Erasmus + KA 1 program embarked on a mission to ignite entrepreneurial passion among students within the agri-food sector.

Hosted at the Academy of Entrepreneurship in Athens, the program spanned over 14 days of immersive learning experiences, aimed at equipping students with the skills and mindset necessary for success in the dynamic world of entrepreneurship.

Cultivating Entrepreneurial Mindset

From the outset, students delved into self-discovery sessions led by industry experts. Alessandro Carbone, alongside other esteemed speakers, guided students in recognizing and harnessing their personal resources, emphasizing self-awareness, motivation, and perseverance.

Fostering Creativity and Collaboration

Central to the program was the cultivation of creativity and the ability to mobilize resources effectively. Through interactive sessions led by experienced mentors, students learned to think outside the box and collaborate with peers, laying the groundwork for future entrepreneurial endeavors.

Seizing Opportunities in Agriculture and Food Production

Throughout the program, students were exposed to the intricacies of the agri-food sector. Workshops led by professionals like Dimitris Psyllas provided invaluable insights into identifying entrepreneurial opportunities within this vital industry, empowering students to envision innovative solutions to real-world challenges.

Towards Sustainable Solutions

Ethical and sustainable thinking were woven into the fabric of the program. Aspasia Provou and other sustainability advocates emphasized the importance of valuing ideas that prioritize environmental stewardship, equipping students with the tools to develop solutions that benefit both society and the planet.

Hands-on Learning and Field Experiences

The program extended beyond classroom teachings with immersive field trips and study visits. Students had the opportunity to explore innovative agri-food concepts firsthand, gaining practical insights into initiatives like the OPEN FARM concept and sustainable community ecosystems.

As the program concluded, students engaged in strategic planning and project management workshops, guided by mentors who imparted invaluable knowledge and skills essential for transforming ideas into actionable plans. The emphasis on uncertainty management and collaboration further empowered students to navigate the challenges of entrepreneurship with confidence.
