People working together

On September 11, 2025, the TTraSE – Twin Transition for Social Enterprises in Arts and Craft Sectors project hosted its first Co-Creation Lab, during the 2nd Transnational Project Meeting in Prizren, Kosovo.

What is TTraSE?

TTraSE is a European project focused on strengthening the green and digital transformation of the arts and crafts sector in the Western Balkans, with a particular emphasis on social economy enterprises (SEEs). The project works with two main target groups:

  • Social enterprises active in the arts and crafts sector

  • VET and C-VET providers who support skills development and lifelong learning

By building capacity, developing training guidelines, and designing micro-credentials, TTraSE empowers both groups to play a leading role in a more sustainable and inclusive future.

🧠 The Co-Creation Lab: From Insight to Action

The Co-Creation Lab was a hybrid, hands-on workshop based on the Design Thinking methodology, designed to transform the findings of TTraSE Report T2.2 into practical, actionable guidelines for training and capacity building.

It brought together VET and C-VET trainers from the Western Balkans and the EU, alongside representatives of social enterprises and project partners.

Participants worked collaboratively to:

  • Identify the most pressing needs of social enterprises in the twin transition

  • Brainstorm real-world training solutions

  • Co-develop an outline for the upcoming Capacity Building Guidelines

  • Draft key elements for a micro-credential framework that supports green and digital skills development

The lab created an inclusive and participatory space, where all voices could contribute equally. It also enabled meaningful cross-border networking, promoted collaborative learning, and gave participants practical experience with Design Thinking tools they can reuse in their own contexts.

What’s Next?

The insights and ideas developed during the Lab are now being synthesized into the first drafts of the Capacity Building Guidelines and the micro-credential framework. These will be validated and refined by the partnership, and aligned with EQF standards, laying the foundation for future training activities within the project.
