The Academy of Entrepreneurship is leading the Erasmus+ project ‘Promoting Youth-led Women Entrepreneurship for the Development of Inclusive Green Economy’ that aims to foster cooperation between countries in Europe, Latin America and Asia in the field of green entrepreneurship.

The project will train women youth workers and young people belonging to vulnerable contexts with key competencies and practical skills that promote their entrepreneurial spirit and increase their employment opportunities within the various sectors related to the green economy model by using innovative methodologies.

Participating countries in the project are Greece, Italy, Mexico and India. Each partner will contribute with 4 women youth workers who will become protagonists and supporters of the project in different initiatives throughout its 2-year duration such as training activities, transnational meetings (Greece, Mexico, India), and workshops, etc.

What’s the profile of the Women Youth Workers?

• Ability to communicate in English
• Commitment to the whole duration of the project / not only the mobility activities
• Availability to work with communities
• Contribution to the all activities of the project, outputs, etc.
• Women youth workers or students involved in the sectors related to the project (preferably)
• Availability to participate in international events (passport, time availability, etc.)

What should you do?

The selected women youth workers composing the working group will:

• Attend the training activities including e-learning course, transnational training meetings in Greece, Mexico and India (in a physical or virtual way), online webinar and other training events.

• Develop and deliver the “Guidelines for gender inclusion in the field of the green economy” and contribute to the Handbook “How to develop entrepreneurship initiatives through the lean startup methodology in the field of green economy”.
• Work directly with the selected communities for the implementation of the project, by making the community analysis and developing the model based of the application of the Lean Startup Methodology in the community.
• Participate and support partner organisations in the planning and organization of transnational events, as well as the local workshops.
• Keep in constant communication with youth workers from all participating countries, to exchange ideas, experiences and create a network of transnational collaboration.

What will you gain?

• Development of global vision in women youth works for analysing and studying your local contexts in confront with the realities of other regions of the world; you will identify current problems and alternative development models in your country so as to develop initiatives that boost your empowerment as an agent of change in the green economy.
• Practical implementation of entrepreneurship initiatives in the field of green economy and, as a consequence, your effective inclusion in the various sectors related to this model within their local contexts.
• Creation of collaboration networks with young people from different countries.
• Fully covered expenses related to the mobility activities in Mexico and India
• Application of innovative methodologies of entrepreneurship such as: Lean Startup methodology will allow WYW to develop real entrepreneurship in their respective local contexts, without large investments and making the most of the available resources, thus creating opportunities for decent employment for them and other member of community.
