AKEP becomes a member of  QualityNet Foundation, the Network of Responsible Organisations and Active Citizens.

AKEP’s President, Andreas Stefanidis, has been a key note speaker at the following conference:

.AKEP will participate at the European Workshop for Educators of Teachers on ‘Entrepreneurship Education 2-4 May 2012.


AKEP participates at the Global Entrepreneurship Congress in Liverpool. The Global Entrepreneurship Congress is the largest gathering of start-up champions from around the world.


The mENTERing project is a 24 month initiative co-funded by the European Commission, under the Directorate-General for Education and Culture that aims to better equip VET trainers in the business sector who are interested to learn how to mentor entrepreneurs.

Academy of Entrepreneurship is a community member of Entrepreneur Envoy. Entrepreneur Envoy is a Social Enterprise that supports a global change by turning Ideas into Action, promoting sustainability and celebrating success.

On May 12 2011, Academy of Entrepreneurship signs Cooperation Protocol with the INOVREGIO, Associação de Inovação Regional, in the city of Cartaxo in Portugal. More

High Level Symposium on “Entrepreneurship Education: Teacher Education as critical success factor” The President of the Academy of Entrepreneurship, Andreas Stefanidis, participates at the High Level Symposium on “Entrepreneurship Education: Teacher Education as critical success factor”, Budapest 7-8 April 2011 organised be the European Commission, DG Enterprise and Industry. European Week for Small and Medium Enterprises

The Academy of Entrepreneurship offered free workshops to young entrepreneurs during the 1st European Week for Small and Medium Enterprises held in Athens on6-14 May 2009. The workshops that were organised were “Business Start-Ups”- 6, 10 & 13 May 2009 and “Entrepreneurship & Leadership’- 8 & 14 May 2009.

Global Entrepreneurship Week, 19-25 November 2008

The Academy of Entrepreneurship was a National Partner in the Global Entrepreneurship Week organised in Athens between 19- 25 November 2008. During the Global Entrepreneurship Week, the Academy of Entrepreneurship offered free educational programmes and other educational activities, such as the “Cafe of Entrepreneurs.”
Participants had the opportunity to be informed about the latest developments in the issues concerning businesses today both at a national and an international level and discuss with successful entrepreneurs topics relating to the establishment, growth and competitiveness of their business.

Free Seminars for Young Entrepreneurs
On 20 & 21 June 2008, AKEP organised two free seminars about “Business Start-ups” in its offices 9 Xavriou & Praxitelous in Athens. Young entrepreneurs from Athens and others areas of the country attended. The seminars were sponsored by “Hfaistos”, the educational Association of Athens.
